Hello!

My name is Salvatore Berardi, I am a photographer born and raised in Italy, spent years traveling with purpose, eventually finding my home in New Zealand.

Since a young age, my fascination with photography was ignited by watching my father capture moments with a film camera during ceremonies. This early exposure sparked a deep passion and curiosity for the world of creativity within me. Over the years, I delved into acquiring various cameras, both film and digital, honing my skills and developing my craft.

In 2020, I took a significant step by establishing my first company under the name BR Photo and Social, specialising mainly in food and product photography. As my love for candid family shoots and special occasions grew, in 2024, I rebranded into two distinct categories:

SB Portraits and Memories for heartfelt family shoots, pregnancy sessions, family portraits, and engagements.

SB Photo and Media for commercial ventures such as food and product photography for cafes, restaurants, and diverse businesses.

The journey of growing from a young enthusiast to an established professional has been filled with learning experiences, challenges, and joys of capturing lasting memories for individuals, families, and businesses alike.
